Ayda Roozbayani

Ayda Roozbayani (b. 1995) is a figurative painter who holds a BA in painting from Alzahra University in Tehran, Iran. She has had multiple solo exhibitions, participated in various group exhibitions, and received numerous awards. In 2022, Roozbayani's work was featured in the KHOR Artists Group exhibition. Roozbayani's artwork combines modern and classic styles of representation using techniques such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and collage. Her paintings often revolve around the connection between humans and nature, the impact of the industrial world on modern humans, and their emotional states. Her art reflects the collective sense of confusion, loneliness, and expectation in humanity. Water is a recurring element in Roozbayani's paintings as a symbol of mysteries, the unknown, a metaphor for introspection, and the boundary separating the figures from the rest of the world.
