Maria Halios

Maria Halios is a Greek Lebanese cross-disciplinary designer with maternal roots in Alexandria, Egypt, a layered Mediterranean heritage that shapes her cultural sensibility and artistic language. Trained in Paris, her practice is based between Athens and Beirut.

Working across sculptural objects and installations, Halios develops her practice through sustained material exploration, with clay and metals as central mediums. She chooses these materials for their shared elemental qualities—earth and fire, density and resilience—which allow her to trace roots, memory, and transformation through matter.
